I had built a habit over many years of learning about my Heavenly Father instead of coming home to let Him know me. I would dwell on the outskirts busy with religious work, afraid that being known meant exploitation and abandonment, as it had so many times in my life. Stepping up to the Cross was the last hope I had that my heart could be whole again. THERE was the grace of God. jt
