Hiding From God

"God always had a plan to free us from the pain, hurt, fear and the masks we hide behind here on earth. His Cross awards us the chance to stop hiding, step into our authentic self and walk out our good destiny. But you've heard me say it before ... we are not taught often enough how to appropriate all that the Cross accomplished. There are two things we must know - we have to desire God's freedom (and there's numerous reasons we really don't) and we must allow God to do it. Personally, I’ve discovered neither is easy to do as He must first slay our performance-driven view of love and restoration. Ouch!” jt
